Updated 8/11 – Follow @walterfootball for updates.
  1. Josh Allen, QB, Bills (at Jets)- 28 Points
290 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 50 Rushing Yards, 1 TD.
The Jets are a tough matchup, but Josh Allen has the rushing upside to overcome them.

  2. Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles (at Patriots)- 28 Points
310 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 80 Rushing Yards.
Bill Belichick’s defenses have always struggled against mobile quarterbacks.

  3. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs (vs. Lions)- 25 Points
330 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 30 Rushing Yards.
Detroit has an underrated defense, but there’s no stopping Patrick Mahomes.

  4. Justin Fields, QB, Bears (vs. Packers)- 23 Points
230 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 110 Rushing Yards.
Let’s see if the Justin Fields magic continues.

  5. Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens (vs. Texans)- 23 Points
270 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 70 Rushing Yards.
Lamar Jackson will be throwing more this year, and Houston’s defense is solid.

  6. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jaguars (at Colts)- 22 Points
310 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
Stephon Gilmore is gone, so Trevor Lawrence has a great matchup.

  7. Geno Smith, QB, Seahawks (vs. Rams)- 21 Points
310 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.
The Rams’ defense is definitely not what it used to be.

  8. Joe Burrow, QB, Bengals (at Browns)- 19 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.
Joe Burrow hasn’t done well against the Browns. He could also still be banged up.

  9. Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys (at Giants)- 19 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Dak Prescott has an easy matchup to begin 2023, but how will he perform without Kellen Moore?

  10. Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Dolphins (at Chargers)- 19 Points
260 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rushing Yards.
Tua Tagovailoa will have difficulty finding time in the pocket versus the Chargers’ pass rush.

  11. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Jets (vs. Bills)- 19 Points
280 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs.
Aaron Rodgers will be in F-U mode this year, and Buffalo’s defense won’t be as good if Von Miller isn’t healthy.

  12. Kirk Cousins, QB, Vikings (vs. Buccaneers)- 19 Points
320 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.
The Buccaneers don’t have the pass rush to rattle Kirk Cousins.

  13. Russell Wilson, QB, Broncos (vs. Raiders)- 17 Points
270 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 30 Rushing Yards.
Russell Wilson will have an easy matchup right away in Sean Payton’s offense.

  14. Deshaun Watson, QB, Browns (vs. Bengals)- 17 Points
290 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 40 Rushing Yards.
Deshaun Watson should be much better after his 2022 disaster.

  15. Anthony Richardson, QB, Colts (vs. Jaguars)- 17 Points
230 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 2 INTs, 80 Rushing Yards.
Anthony Richardson has a low floor, but he possesses Justin Fields-type upside.

  16. Daniel Jones, QB, Giants (vs. Cowboys)- 17 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 50 Rushing Yards.
Daniel Jones’ mobility will be useful against Dallas’ terrific pass rush.

  17. Jared Goff, QB, Lions (at Chiefs)- 17 Points
260 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT.
Jared Goff is worse outdoors, but the matchup isn’t tough, and the weather shouldn’t be bad yet.

  18. Jordan Love, QB, Packers (at Bears)- 17 Points
290 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 40 Rushing Yards.
Jordan Love has a nice matchup to begin his full-time role with the Packers.

  19. Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams (at Seahawks)- 17 Points
270 Passing Yards, 2 Pass TDs, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Enjoy Matthew Stafford while he’s healthy!

  20. Sam Howell, QB, Redskins (vs. Cardinals)- 17 Points
250 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 50 Rushing Yards.
Sam Howell has solid potential with his scrambling ability, and this is an easy matchup.

  21. Derek Carr, QB, Saints (vs. Titans)- 16 Points
280 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 10 Rushing Yards.

  22. Brock Purdy, QB, 49ers (at Steelers)- 15 Points
290 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD.
This is not an ideal matchup for Brock Purdy, who could have trouble with the Pittsburgh pass rush.

  23. Bryce Young, QB, Panthers (at Falcons)- 15 Points
230 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 40 Rushing Yards.
Atlanta’s defense will be better this year, but Bryce Young can still be used because of his rushing upside.

  24. Ryan Tannehill, QB, Titans (at Saints)- 15 Points
250 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.

  25. Desmond Ridder, QB, Falcons (vs. Panthers)- 14 Points
230 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.

  26. Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Raiders (at Broncos)- 14 Points
260 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD.

  27. Baker Mayfield, QB, Bucs (at Vikings)- 13 Points
290 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.

  28. Mac Jones, QB, Patriots (vs. Eagles)- 13 Points
240 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  29. Kenny Pickett, QB, Steelers (vs. 49ers)- 13 Points
240 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 20 Rushing Yards.

  30. C.J. Stroud, QB, Texans (at Ravens)- 13 Points
210 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 30 Rushing Yards.
I wouldn’t play C.J. Stroud in his first game.

  31. Colt McCoy, QB, Cardinals (at Redskins)- 12 Points
250 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT.

  32. Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers (vs. Dolphins)- 10 Points
190 Passing Yards, 1 Pass TD, 1 INT, 10 Rushing Yards.
Justin Herbert has to be thrilled that Jalen Ramsey is sidelined.

  33. Greg Dulcich, QB, Broncos (vs. Raiders)- 5 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.

  34. Isaiah Hodgins, QB, Giants (vs. Cowboys)- 1 Points
    1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.

  35. Kyle Trask, QB, Bucs (at Vikings)- 0 Points

  36. Mike White, QB, Dolphins (at Chargers)- 0 Points

  37. Zach Wilson, QB, Jets (vs. Bills)- 0 Points

  38. Tyler Huntley, QB, Ravens (vs. Texans)- 0 Points

  39. Anthony Brown, QB, Ravens (vs. Texans)- 0 Points

  40. Jacoby Brissett, QB, Redskins (vs. Cardinals)- 0 Points

  41. Gardner Minshew, QB, Colts (vs. Jaguars)- -1 Points
